For some managed intelligent Gigabit PoE switches such as the HP 3500-48G-PoE yl Switch J8693A you may need to manually set the LAN port to 100Mbs mode in the switch settings to ensure proper network connection even if the power supply works normally. Note that this splitter is not compatible with v2 Bridges that have a 5.5x2.5mm DC socket.
